Chris Merrill, Chicago bass player and composer has been a presence in the local and regional music scene for over four years.
Performing with many different musical groups such as: The Drastics, Kibosh, Silences Sumire, Adam Fitz, Dr. Ring Ding, King Django, Corey Dixon, The Satellite Thieves, Ben Wagley Jazz Trio, Brent Mitchell Band, Roger Creager, and Ralph "Soul" Jackson.
Can also be heard on countless recordings by, The Drastics, Kibosh, Chester Copperpot, Adam Fitz, Illuminati Congo, Longshot, Fada Dougou, Death of a Salesman, Touch Sensitive and corporate training programs.
Chris puts his knowledge and live show energy into every recording opportunity. He is available for studio and live performances in and around the Chicago area. Plays upright bass, 4-string bass, and 5-string bass.
